You see, everyone was playing Portal. Including me. And suddenly everyone wanted to make Chell costumes and ASHPD's and Companion Cube plushes and I kinda sat back and couldn't help but notice that my favorite villain was being overlooked. So I decided to try my first big prop endeavor.
Then smelled what I was cooking in my little head and discovered my secret plan. And she is the Robot Queen. You do NOT mess with the Robot Queen, unless you want to wake up next to a horse's head. So we decided to make it a team effort! She worked on the TV and base and I made the glowing cores. Each core is a foam ball, hollowed out, dipped in latex, painted, and installed with a tap-light. There is also a light inside the TV screen, which you can't exactly see in broad daylight, but it's there.
I also installed a speaker on the right side of the TV, connected it to my iPod inside, and put all of GLaDOS's quotes on loop as we wheeled her around the front of the con. We put a TON of work into this baby and Mar-T even made little laminated Aperture Science ID badges for us to wear. We also carried around our mouse friend, Algernon.
And yes, I am wearing a Green Monkeys shirt beneath my lab coat. It's a 3 year tradition that I refuse to break. EAT IT, BITCHES!
The cake, I mean. Because there really was a cake.
Both photos taken by the talented Tiffany Chang (Lockheart.org).
On an off-topic note, I think you'd make a great Quistis. XD Anyway very nice photos~

The flow of time is always cruel... Its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it. A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days...
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
